| Less than 1% of people who've had appendicitis and consequently had their appendix removed, will get appendicitis a second time. This seems impossible since they remove your appendix the first time. Well, they leave a little "stump" which can become infected and when that happens it is called Stump Appendicitis. This is what I have. I was in the hospital for 3 days, being tested and poked and prodded, like a "House Case" for those of you who've seen the show House, only to find out I have Stump Appendicitis. A surgeon consulted with me and told me, thankfully, that she didn't think I'd need surgery and that some heavy duty antibiotics would do the trick. So, I'm at home, resting, and taking antibiotics that make me feel like I'm floating and Euphoric. Fun times. The pain in my lower right side is getting better so I'm hopeful that no surgery will be needed. Anyway, just thought I'd post an update since people have been wondering what the heck is going on with me.
I hope this finds you all well!
Love Always,

| Brad and I found a home in Cottage Grove. It took a long time and a lot of testing of my patience in waiting for the right home to come along, but it was worth it. It is a 2 level rambler with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a fenced backyard! :) I put some pictures up on facebook. We close on September 14th, which is less than 3 weeks away! I am super excited!!! I guess I'll be pretty busy for awhile now! More to come soon! Love Always, Amberleigh | | |
| I tried to update my xanga earlier today but when I hit save changes it pulled up some random facebook thing and didn't save my post. Bummer! Anyway, I was just sending an update since I've been so horrible at it. Brad and I have continued looking at houses and we put an offer on another one on Sunday but found out on Tuesday that someone offered a higher bid. So, back to looking at more houses. They are all starting to fade into each other. So many houses, hard to keep track! Well, I'm sure we'll find the right house for us! :) It just takes time and a lot of energy! *yawn* I hope this finds everyone well!
In Christ,
Amberleigh

| Brad and I have been busy looking at houses, and just with life in general. That is no excuse for no blog posting though! We put an offer on another house in Cottage Grove but someone put in a higher offer. Bummer! Anyway, we are back to looking which is fun, but after awhile it kind of brainwashes you and all of the houses start fading into one another. I just want to find the one right house for us!!! *sigh* Besides that, nothing too much is new...I hope this is finding you all well! | | |
| Remember singing that in choir? During warm ups? It's Frah ah ay day! Well, I'm singing it right now and so happy that it is!!! I am super excited for the weekend! We are about to leave to go to the mall and go out to dinner. On Saturday Brad and I are ushers in a wedding of some friends of ours from church, Tony and Theresa. That will be fun! And then we are going to do our taxes, probably Saturday night or Sunday after church. I am super excited to do my taxes because I love to see how much money I'll be getting back! (all of it will go to student loans, though!) I also enjoy getting it over with so I don't have to worry about it anymore.
Well, it's time to go to the mall! I'll update more soon!!!
Love, Amberleigh
